So you've decided to design an enclosure that fits your needs rather than just make someone else's "standard" cage do. But just how do you go about having us build your personal "custom enclosure?"
Below, we have given an example of how a custom enclosure might come about. Your personal design might be more or less complicated with more or less steps in the process, but the basic procedure will be the same. Just dream a little, give us the rough measurements with any "extra" features you would like to have included, and let us give you a quote. For unusual designs, we will probably put your ideas into a sketch rendering for you to see before you comit or any construction begins.

YOU SAY: "I would like a 3-level cage for my ferrets -- something like your 3-level model s553 but with each level a lot shorter - ferrets don't need that much vertical space! Let's make it 4 feet tall so each level is 16" high. I'd also like a hole in each floor with ramps linking the levels. The hole in the bottom floor should be big enough for a litter pan. Then let's make the front door of each level span the whole width of the cage so that I can get in to clean more easily. However, the middle level should have wire above the door so that I can hang some hammocks from front to back. Also, I'd like a "door within a door" on the bottom two levels. The bottom door within a door should open downward forming a ramp. And put it on an enclosed stand so that none of my guys can escape out the bottom! Got all that?"
